Skeletool CX Stainless Steel MultiTool
Back to basics...Very cool basics. Today's outdoor enthusiasts want to keep weight and volume to a minimum without sacrificing quality and true functionality. While multi-tools have multiple options, they're often heavier with more features than are used on a regular basis. Conversely, pocket knives are light and streamlined, but render themselves useless when necessary adjustments call for a tool. Enter the new Skeletool platform: Minimal weight, compact size and endless capabilities.

"I had been carrying a small knife, but often wished I had a driver or pliers. I like how thin the tool is. It still fits comfortably in my pocket, but the drivers and pliers are really handy."

"I had a leatherman crunch, that I lost in the Columbia River after five faithful years of service. I saw the skeletool at a local retailer and almost died of sticker shock. Then I saw it here for a very reasonable price. I've had it for two months now and I actually carry it everyday.
The crunch was useful, but I only pocketed it on days I knew I would want it (I work at a fish hatchery), due to its considerable heft. So of course most days that I could have used it, it was at home on the dresser. Not so, with the skeletool.
I have not missed any of the extra tools that the skeletool is without. Knife, screwdrivers, pliers/cutters, bottle opener. That is all you really need. It is nice and slim so it fits in your front pocket, no problem. The only negative is that if you drop it, you may have to go searching for the stored screwdriver bit, as it has popped out twice on me. I sort of crimped the holder, so that it has a better bite and all is well. I highly recommend this tool. Ps. spring for the CX, it looks wicked in black!"

"Ok... I am aversed to spending on tools, especially like this one. However I am very impressed... the utility of this guy is great! (I have used the screwdriver several times as well as the blade) Now, I know nothing of Leatherman products, however looking at the construction... it almost makes me wonder... are they coming out with add-on options later on? It appears like it almost has the ability to have parts added if you were so inclined. Can't wait if so (hints to the leatherman powers that be :-)"

"I bought this about two weeks ago. I have to say I love it. It's light weight and doesn't feel like it is weighing my pocket down. The knife is great for opening boxes, cutting through packing tape and package banding, as well as shrink wrap. Since I got it not a day has gone by that I don't use at least the knife and one of the screw driver heads. Whether I am at work, in the warehouse,or at home dinking around on my car or fidling with the hardware in my computer this little tools sure has come in handy."

"I use the the knife on this tool to the fullest extent. In the one month that i have had this tool it is on my side all day and the knife is still as sharp as the first day i bought it. The screwdriver is very handy for it has bothe phillips and flathead. Excellent light product at a affordable price."

Awesome Multi-Tool

"Having owned other leathermans (Including a squirt e4 that i use everyday) i was looking forward to using the skeletool CX. While it's not as bloated as some tools with nail files, corkscrews etc. The tools it does have are ones you will find yourself using constantly.
The knife has a good blade and the lock for it works very well. The pliers are great. The bottle opener/carbiner is easily accessible. The screwdriver is sturdy enough for quite a few jobs, i had an issue where the "tooth" wouldn't close all the way to grab the screwdriver bits. But i just lubed it and worked it around a little.
Overall, great tool. It remains light while still maintaining the strength and functionality to be used."
