47" Model 177 Trench Shovel

Shovel blades and shanks are one-piece, rust-proofed, 14-gauge steel, taper-formed and then heat treated. Round blades have a slip-resistant, turned step. Burnished, lacquered ash handles are double-riveted to blade socket. 170 and 171 designs are offered with fiberglass handles for greater strength and longer life.
